Bihar Anganwadi Recruitment 2025: The recruitment for the position of Anganwadi Supervisor in Bihar for the year 2025 is being organized by the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) under the auspices of the Social Welfare Department of Bihar. Offer Letter of Bihar Anganwadi Sevika 2025
The District Level Selection Committee will assess the applications for the 25% vacant positions of Bihar Anganwadi Sevika and will create a merit list of candidates based on the established reservation guidelines.
Candidates will earn 10 marks for each year of uninterrupted service, up to a maximum of 10 years, with an additional mark granted for each year served beyond that limit. This assessment will only take into account the period during which an honorarium has been received. Bihar Anganwadi Sevikas who have received a National Award will be awarded an extra 10 marks, while those who have received a State Award will gain an additional 5 marks.
In terms of educational qualifications, candidates will receive bonus marks according to their performance in higher examinations: 10 marks for first division, 5 marks for second division, and 3 marks for third division. The final merit list will be established based on the total marks obtained through these criteria, and appointments will be made for the highest-scoring candidates in line with the available positions and reservation categories. In instances where candidates have the same merit scores, preference will be given to the older candidate.
Educational Limitation for Bihar Anganwadi Recruitment 2025
The basic educational requirement is the successful completion of matriculation or an equivalent credential. In determining the percentage of marks achieved in the matriculation examination, only the scores from both compulsory and optional subjects will be taken into account; scores from any additional subjects will be excluded. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of service as of January 1st of the selection year. Each candidate will earn 10 marks for 10 years of continuous service, with an extra mark granted for each additional year completed thereafter. Reservation for Disability Candidates – Bihar Anganwadi 2025
The roles available through horizontal reservation for differently abled candidates who are dependents of freedom fighters (a certificate from the relevant authority is necessary) are detailed below:
