Jharkhand RTE Private School Admission 2025-26: In accordance with the provisions outlined in the Act, the admission process for non-aided private schools is designed for children from neighboring disadvantaged groups and weaker sections. “Neighboring” is defined as children living within a one-kilometer radius of the school. Should there be an insufficient number of children within this radius, the enrollment may extend to those residing within a three-kilometer radius from the school boundary. If vacancies persist, children living within a five-kilometer distance from the school will also be considered for admission.
Disadvantaged groups include individuals from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, backward classes, minority communities, and children with disabilities of 40% or greater. Weaker sections are defined as children who do not fall into the disadvantaged category and whose family’s total annual income is below INR 72,000 from all sources. Priority for enrollment will be granted to children from disadvantaged groups and weaker sections, particularly those whose family’s annual income is less than INR 72,000.

Guidelines for Completing the RTE Application Form: The information outlined below serves as general guidance and should not be interpreted as a legal document. It is subject to change or modification at any time by the Competent Authority.
This application is intended for the registration of students applying for admission to private schools for the academic year 2025-2026 under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, specifically for those from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Preparation Prior to Completing the Application Form: To facilitate a seamless and efficient application process, please ensure the following documents are prepared: A valid mobile number with an Indian SIM card. All notifications related to the application will be communicated via SMS to the registered number. It is recommended to utilize your personal number instead of that of a relative, friend, agent, or cyber café operator.
A digital or scanned photograph of the child (JPEG format, maximum size: 200KB). Aadhaar card information for both parents. If the child resides at a different location in Jamtara, the Aadhaar number of the guardian is also necessary.
Important Guidelines
- Once the application has been submitted and the submission code generated, no additional modifications can be made.
- The applicant must reside in the Jamtara district. Required Documents for Online Submission include: Proof of Age, which can be a birth certificate issued by the Municipal Council, Municipal Corporation, Gram Panchayat records, Military Hospital records, or Defense personnel service records.
- The original birth certificate must be presented for verification during the admission process. Both parents’ Aadhaar cards are essential; if one parent is unavailable, the available Aadhaar card should be uploaded.
- In cases where the parents are absent or the child lives with someone else, the guardian’s Aadhaar card is necessary. A Category Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/BPL must be obtained from the relevant state or central government authority. An Income Certificate indicating an income of ₹72,000 should be issued from October 2024.
- Residential Proof must be provided through a residence certificate from the competent authority. If applicable, the guardian’s address proof is required, which can be an electricity bill, gas bill, bank passbook, or driving license if the child resides with a blood relative.
- The Age Criteria for Nursery/LKG is 3 years (3 years 6 months to 4 years 6 months), and for Class 1, it is 5 years (5 years 6 months to 7 years).
- There is a reservation for Physically Handicapped (PH) Students, categorized as OH – Orthopedically Handicapped and LV – Lower Vision.
- Applications may be rejected if the required documents are not submitted by the deadline or if the applicant does not report to the assigned school by the specified date.
- During the School Selection and Admission Process, it is mandatory to select one school while applying. Following verification, the District Education Officer will assign the school.

Jharkhand RTE Admission 2025-26 Age Requirements: To qualify for admission into Nursery and LKG, children must be at least 3 years and 6 months old and not exceed 4 years and 6 months of age. For Class I, the age criteria stipulate that applicants must be older than 5 years and 6 months but younger than 7 years.
How to Apply Jharkhand RTE Admission 2025-26
The registration and login process for candidates interested in admission under the Right to Education (RTE) scheme will be available from February 2025 to February 2025. To initiate this process, please visit www.rtehazaribagh.in, click on the Login button, and then select the Student Sign-in option. You will need to provide essential information such as the Student Name, Phone Number, Date of Birth (D.O.B), and create a Password before completing the registration by clicking the Register Button.
Once registered, log in using the Registered Mobile Number, select the child, enter the password, and click on the Login Button. Next, choose your district and block from the available options, select the child’s name, and upload a passport-sized photograph. You will also need to provide both current and permanent addresses, along with the names and occupations of the Mother and Father, their phone numbers, and Aadhar Card numbers.
Additionally, input the Family Income, the Income Certificate number, and upload the Income Certificate. Select the caste, provide the caste certificate number, and upload the corresponding caste certificate. Include the signature of either the Mother, Father, or Guardian and indicate how the form was completed. Confirm your agreement with the information provided by ticking the checkbox and then click on the “Submit” button.
For the school application, select your preferred school and specify the distance from your home before clicking on Apply. Finally, review the entire application for accuracy before finalizing it, and click on the “Print Application” button once all details have been confirmed.
