Reservation of Andhra Pradesh Home Guard 2025
Women Reservation: 33.5% across all categories, including EWS, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen, in accordance with the reservation policy.

In Chittoor District, the authorized strength of Home Guards is set at 455, which includes one platoon comprised of female personnel. The district is organized into three units: Chittoor, Madanapalli, and Palamaner.
Welfare Measures for Home Guards 2025
- Home Guards have been provided with welfare loans amounting to Rs. 5,000 each, which are to be repaid through monthly salary deductions of Rs. 500 over ten installments.
- All Home Guards have received identity cards and name plates.
- Moreover, nose masks and traffic equipment, such as red jackets, helmets, batons, and lights, have been distributed to those assigned to traffic duties in Chittoor District (CTR, PLMR, MPL Units).
