J&K Anganwadi Recruitment 2025 Helpers

  • The selection of Helpers will be confined to the electoral ward in which the Anganwadi Centre is located.
  • Eligible applicants must be women aged between 18 and 37 years.
  • Candidates should be residents of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • The minimum educational qualification required for the role of Anganwadi Helper is a matriculation certificate. In the absence of matriculated candidates within the ward, individuals who have completed at least the 8th standard may be considered.
  • The committee will choose the most disadvantaged married woman from the ward who fulfills the qualification criteria to serve as the Helper. If no married candidates are available, unmarried candidates may also be considered.
  • Preference will be given to eligible candidates who are family members of retiring Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) or Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs).

Verification of Jammu and Kashmir Anganwadi Recruitment 2025

1) Candidates who have been shortlisted for document verification are required to participate in the verification process with their original documents, along with self-attested photocopies of each document, as detailed in the Advertisement Notification. It is crucial for candidates to have the necessary academic qualifications and other documents, including the Domicile Certificate, by the application form submission deadline.

a) Academic records such as Mark sheets, Diplomas, or Degrees that correspond to the qualifications specified for the position in the Advertisement Notification.
b) Date of Birth or Matriculation Certificate.
c) Domicile Certificate.
d) Unmarried Certificate (if applicable).

2) Candidates must also provide two recent passport-sized color photographs and one original form of Photo ID proof. Acceptable forms of Photo ID include:
i) Aadhaar Card
ii) Voter ID Card

3) During the Document Verification process, candidates are required to present various certificates that were issued on or before the designated cut-off date, or as requested by the Committee. Failure to submit these documents may lead the Committee to make a final determination regarding the candidate’s eligibility.

Eligibility For the UT of J&K Anganwadi Recruitment 2025 2025

  • The applicant must be a resident of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • Eligible female applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 37.
  • The applicant is required to live in the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is situated. Inclusion in the voter list for that specific ward will serve as evidence of residency. If the applicant’s name is listed in the voter registry with her parents, she must provide an unmarried certificate issued by the relevant Tehsildar. In the event of any disputes regarding residency, a residence proof document certifying the ward from the appropriate SDMIACR will be accepted.
  • The minimum educational qualification for the position of Anganwadi Worker is 10+2, while the maximum qualification is graduation. If there are no candidates with a 10+2 qualification available in the ward, candidates with a 10+2 qualification from a neighboring ward may be considered, subject to prior approval from the Mission Director of Mission POSHAN.
  • Should a suitable candidate not be found in the adjacent ward, a candidate from the nearest ward within the Panchayat may be considered, contingent upon the approval of the Mission Director of Mission POSHAN.
  • Selection will be determined solely on merit, with emphasis placed on the marks obtained in 10+2, and no other criteria will be considered.
  • In cases of a tie in merit among eligible candidates, preference will be given to the older candidate.
  • Candidates with qualifications beyond graduation will not be eligible for consideration.
