Role of Rajasthan Home Guard 2025

The Home Guards serve as an auxiliary force to the Police, aiding in the preservation of internal security and responding to a range of emergencies such as air raids, fires, cyclones, earthquakes, and epidemics. They are instrumental in maintaining essential services, promoting communal harmony, assisting the administration in protecting at-risk populations, and engaging in law enforcement efforts.

Home Guards are divided into two main categories: urban and border. Additionally, Border Wing Home Guards (BWHG) Battalions have been created to assist the Border Security Force.
